The timing is so close... Honda's E-Clutch, BMW's ASA, KTM's AMT, and now Yamaha's Y-AMT. At the Honda E-Clutch launch test ride event and at Yamaha's event, they said, "There was no agreement," but it seems to be true that the sales of Honda DCT in Europe are driving this trend toward automation. Honda DCT has a history of 14 years, and it seems that it was difficult to gain traction at first, but now it seems to be selling at a level that other companies cannot ignore.
