Suzuki Motorcycle has revised the price of its 400cc big scooter "BURGMAN400 ABS" and will release it on Friday, September 6th. The equipment and specifications will remain unchanged, and the previous three color variations will continue.
The new price is $5969.70, an increase of about $340.97 from the previous price of $5776.03.
The only 400cc big scooter currently available has a traction control and DOHC engine for a comfortable ride
The Burgman 400 is a big scooter that has been running for over 20 years, even though its name has changed. The 399cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine was converted to DOHC when it was released in 2018, and will comply with the Euro 5 emission regulations in 2021, with twin plugs to improve combustion efficiency. The current model has a maximum output of 29PS/6300rpm. In addition, traction control was newly adopted at this time, achieving a more reliable driving performance.
Other equipment aspects are also substantial. The headlights and taillights are LED, there is a 12V power socket, and the space under the seat is large at 42.0L. The seat is thick and cushioned, and it is equipped with a movable backrest. The spaciousness unique to the only 400cc scooter currently available, and the luxurious interior are attractive.
However, a price revision has been announced for the 2025 model of the Burgman 400. The equipment and specifications will remain the same, but the price will increase by about 50,000 yen from the previous $5776.03 to $5969.70. The color lineup will also remain unchanged, with three colors: silver, gray, and black. The model will go on sale from Friday, September 6, 2024.
The Burgman 400 underwent a minor change in 2021. Its riding performance continues to evolve, and it boasts a sense of luxury coupled with high comfort.
