Kawasaki Motors has announced the 2025 model of its sports cruiser "Vulcan S." The Vulcan S was dropped from the catalog after the 2022 model, but has been brought back to life due to compliance with emissions regulations. Along with the Eliminator, Kawasaki's cruiser models have been further enhanced.
It will go on sale on Sunday, September 15, 2024, priced at $7215.05, an increase of $911.37 from the previous price.
Kawasaki's mid-size cruiser is back! Fuel economy figures change to comply with regulations
The Vulcan S is a mid-class cruiser released in 2016. The low and long wheelbase, spacious seat and upright handlebars give it a cruiser-like design with excellent touring performance, but the Vulcan S's defining feature is its engine. It is equipped with a water-cooled parallel twin-cylinder DOHC engine that shares the same design as the Ninja 650 and Z650, and delivers a maximum output of 61 PS/75,000 rpm. It is capable of powerful driving like a sports model, and like the 400cc Eliminator that was released last year, it has the personality of a performance cruiser. Despite its large body, the "ERGO-FIT" function allows you to adjust the footpeg position and change the layout of the handlebars and seat with accessories to fit any body type.
Although the Vulcan S has cleared various regulations and continued to be available in the lineup until the 2022 model, there has been no news of the next model announcement for a while. However, with the announcement of the 2025 model, this will be the first new model in three years. Other than the change in model number due to the new regulations and the change in fuel efficiency figures, the specifications have not changed significantly, but the color has been changed to a new matte gray. The price has also been revised, increasing by $911.37 from the previous $6303.67 to $7215.05.
It will be released on Sunday, September 15, 2024. It is set as a Kawasaki Care model and will be available at Kawasaki Plaza stores nationwide.
The Vulcan S is a mid-class cruiser that was discontinued. It is equipped with a Ninja 650 engine and has sporty characteristics that make it an attractive model. (The photo shows the North American model.)
