Kawasaki Motors has announced the 2025 model "ZX-6R." There are no changes to the specifications, but new colors have been adopted for both the standard and "KRT EDITION" models, giving them a completely new look.
It will be released on Sunday, September 15, 2024, priced at $10936.49, an increase of $151.90 from last year.
New mid-size super sports motorcycle now available in KRT specs and white
The ZX-6R is a mid-class supersport that has been in the lineup overseas since 1995, but it was introduced in Japan from the 2019 model. The engine is equipped with a 636cc water-cooled in-line 4-cylinder DOHC, and with the full model change of the 2024 model, it has evolved into a bold mask inspired by the ZX-10R. The silhouette from the front cowl to the side and tail has been redesigned to improve aerodynamic performance.
In addition, the inlet is winglet-shaped, a spoiler is placed under the headlight, and a ram air intake is placed in the center of the upper cowl. The engine's maximum output is 94kW (128PS) / 13,000 rpm when pressurized with ram air, and the maximum torque is 69Nm (7.0kgf) / 11,000 rpm. It also has a full-color TFT LCD meter.
The 2025 model will have no changes to its equipment or specifications, only a color change. The "KRT EDITON" will feature the latest WSBK race colors with yellow accents, just like the previously announced ZX-10R. The standard version will be available in black with revised graphics, as well as a new white color. This will be the first time that white has been used after a full change.
The model will go on sale on Sunday, September 15, 2024, and both specifications will be priced at $10936.49, up $151.90 from last year.
The ZX-6R received a complete redesign in 2023, and the KRT color scheme for 2025 is the latest version.
The new white model features a bold color accented with red wheels.
