Yamaha Motor has announced a price revision for its 125cc scooter, the Jog 125. The 2025 model, which will go on sale on Friday, September 20, 2024, will be priced at $1823.52, up $22.51 from the previous model. There will be no changes to the color or equipment.

The Jog 125, released in 2022, is a sibling model of the familiar 50cc Jog. It features a lightweight and compact body while retaining the traditional scooter style. The engine is equipped with a 124cc "BLUE CORE" engine that delivers 8.3PS/7,000rpm. Like the "Axis Z", it has a built-in smart motor generator that integrates the starter motor and generator, making the engine ultra-compact. In addition, the vehicle weight is 95kg, the lightest in its class, and the seat height is as low as 735mm.
However, the storage space under the seat has a large capacity of 21.3L, and can easily accommodate a helmet and luggage. In addition, a USB socket that can charge a smartphone is also available as an optional part, making it a perfect character for commuting to work or school.
Another feature of the Jog 125 is its low price, the cheapest among 125cc models. However, with the 2025 model announced this time, the price has been increased while keeping the specifications the same, due to the unstoppable fluctuations in exchange rates and the rising prices of various raw materials.
