MotoGP is finally starting! Information on pre-season tests and team presentations is coming in one after another, and some riders have even revealed their 2024 helmets on social media, so as a race fan, I can't help but feel excited!!
Meanwhile, as a motorbike rider, I'm curious about the equipment of the riders who race on the world's highest stage! So, following on from last year, I investigated the share of helmets used by MotoGP riders.

Despite a slight decrease, Italy's AGV still holds the No.1 share! With 4 employees, it is the most popular
The No. 1 share went to Italy's AGV with 4 employees.
In 2023, there were five riders, but the number has slightly decreased since Pol Espargaro, who competed with GASGAS Factory Racing last year (although he missed nearly half the season due to a crash in the opening race...), retired from the front line and became a test rider for the KTM camp.
The three riders other than 2020 champion Joan Mir (Repsol Honda Team) are Italian, and all of them are disciples of Valentino Rossi, who has been a major star of AGV for many years.
Rossi currently wears a BELL in the four-wheel races he participates in, but when he rode the YZF-R1 in a test for the WSBK (World Superbike Championship) in January of this year, he was properly (?) wearing an AGV.
The ``PISTA GP RR'', which reproduces the flare pattern when he competes in the 2023 GT World Challenge, is available for pre-order in a limited quantity of 3,000 units worldwide. Maybe he participated in the test to promote that (laughs).
