Large motorcycle licenses can be obtained from the age of 18!

There are two types of motorcycle licenses: Small Engine Displacement Motorcycle (up to 50cc), Small-sized regular Motorcycle (up to 125cc), regular Motorcycle (up to 400cc), and large-sized Motorcycle (unlimited Engine Displacement). In addition to small engine displacement motorcycles, there is also an automatic transmission-only license. A large-sized motorcycle license can be obtained from age 18, but a moped to regular motorcycle license can be obtained from age 16.

There are two ways to obtain a large-sized motorcycle license, which allows you to drive motorcycles of 401cc or more (over 400cc): you can use a designated driving school or take the test directly at a driver's license testing center. If you go to a driving school, you will take practical and written lessons, and after passing the graduation test, you will take an aptitude test and written test (practical test is waived) at the driver's license testing center and if you pass, you will be issued a license.

If you have a regular motorcycle license including a small-sized permit, you will be exempt from written lessons, and if you have a regular car license, the written lessons will be shortened to only one class.

The cost of driving schools varies depending on the license held; those without a license or who hold a moped license will pay around $1677.28 (no restrictions) / $1553.04 (automatic transmission only); those who hold a regular driver's license will pay around $372.73 to $496.97 cheaper, and those who hold a regular motorcycle license can pay around $931.82 cheaper.
