A 750-naked model directly descended from the Z650 Zephyr, which made a name for itself in the United States!

Kawasaki has many motorcycles that have a rebellious spirit.
One such bike was the Zephyr, introduced in 1989.
Equipped with an air-cooled, 2-valve, 4-cylinder engine based on the GPz400F, which had been the mainstay of the previous generation, the Zephyr appealed to the public with its gentle 46 PS, whereas the voluntary maximum spec of 59 PS was the norm in the power competition of the 1980s.

At a time when a cowl was the symbol of a sportbike, this minority, the cowl-less model was the originator of the term “naked”.
