The new Monkey 125 has just been unveiled in Thailand, and we would like to once again anticipate the details of the domestic version. It will be available in completely redesigned color variations and will probably go on sale on July 25.
The price is expected to be (approx.) 2877 USD, up 70 USD from the previous model.
Thai model ahead? This is what the 2025 model year Monkey will look like!
In 2018, the Monkey, which evolved from the previous 50cc to 125cc while maintaining the Monkey's concept of a leisure bike for casual enjoyment, continues to enjoy strong sales in Japan and Asia, thanks in part to its ease of use. The 2022 model year saw the adoption of a new 5-speed transmission and a new, longer-stroke engine, and the Monkey 125 complied with emission regulations. The 2024 model features a color change with a colored frame, and the Pearl Nebula Red model has a checkered seat that is reminiscent of the M model. The Monkey 125 has been selling well, and a new model is expected to go on sale on July 25.
A new model for Thailand has already been announced, and it is expected to be introduced in Japan with the same color frame, single-color painted tank, and side covers that match the frame color. Webike Plus editors previously predicted that the tank and seat would also be changed, but this time only the coloring will be changed, and it will be Pearl Cadet Gray, Millennium Red 2, and Sheen Silver Metallic. No major changes are expected to be made to the specifications, and the expected price will be (approx.) 2877 USD, an increase of 70 USD over the previous model.

In Thailand, the color is White-Red. In Japan, it appears to be "Millennium Red 2".

The color is white-gray in Thailand. This color is not often used for monkeys, but it has a stylish image. In Japan, the color is "Pearl Cadet Gray".

In Thailand, the color is black. Since the frame color is silver, it is likely to be marketed as "Scene Silver Metallic" in Japan.

In the Thai specifications, white-red and white-gray have side covers in the same color as the frame.

The seats are not checkered, but simple black with tucked rolls and white pie pink accents.

The white-red Thai version has red rear suspension springs. The other colors are black.

The new Monkey 125 will be available in three colors, and the current Banana Yellow, Pearl Nebula Red, and Pearl Shining Black will be discontinued.

The checkered seat of the current Monkey 125 is also attractive. If you want this seat, you should look for it in stock now.
Expect the same clock & shift display gauges as the new Dax 125!
The new Monkey 125 will wear a new color and have a new image. The new Dax 125 (to be released on August 22), a sibling to the Monkey announced in May, will be priced 63 USD higher than the previous model, and the Monkey 125 will be set at (approx.) 2877 USD, the same 10,000 yen higher than the previous model.

The new DAX 125 (DAX125) is up 70 USD to (approx.) 2877 USD. A new color, black, has been added and red has been eliminated.
The new Dax 125 has a full lineup of noteworthy accessory parts. New accessories include a clock and gear position meter, USB socket, and saddlebags, which will also be available for the Monkey 125. It is nice to see that these accessory parts have been enhanced to meet the needs of the modern age. It is hard to decide between the Dax 125, which can be driven with an AT license, and the manual 5-speed Monkey 125, but whichever one you choose, you are sure to enjoy a fulfilling motorcycle life.

The clock and gear position meter (approx. 155 USD), a new addition to the Dax 125 accessory parts lineup, also appears to be available for the Monkey 125. This is a great piece of equipment for the Monkey 125, which did not have a clock.

The USB socket, which is now a must-have accessory, will also be available for the Dax 125 as a factory accessory. It will also be available for the Monkey 125.

The "saddlebags" for the Dax 125 would also look good on the Monkey 125. Expect this to be available as an accessory as well.
