Many Monkey 125 users may have been curious to read the news that TTR Motors, which is actively engaged in vehicle sales, maintenance, custom manufacturing, and other activities centered on CB-F/R in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture, is developing "F-MON," an exterior kit that will transform a Honda Monkey 125 into a CB750F look.

The most popular in the preliminary survey was the '81 CB750FB in red!

The "F-MON" exterior kit consists of a one-piece tank seat cowl and seat base kit that can be easily installed on the Monkey 125. The tank seat cowl will be sold in black gel.

The paint job is also ordered separately, but at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show, three demo bikes were hastily displayed to give visitors an idea of what to expect: a red '81 Japan-spec CB750FB, a silver and blue '82 North American-spec CB750FC, and a red and white '82 CB750FC, the final domestic-spec model.

The most popular color in the preliminary survey was the '81 FB-spec red, which is known as the model ridden by the main character in the popular motorcycle comic "Bali Bali Legend," which was published in 1983 at the height of the motorcycle boom.

The second-place '82 North American version is the exterior color of the racer that Freddie Spencer rode in the first round of the AMA Superbike series that same year, the so-called Spencer color. The final Japan version of the '82 model has a coloring reminiscent of the flagship model CB1100R sold at the same time, and it too stole the hearts of many CB-F fans as a standard Honda sport bike paint color.
Which color would you prefer?

Easy to install, just put it on. Combines reality and practicality with an idea.

As mentioned earlier, the integrated tank seat cowl is easy to install, just put it over the Monkey 125 with the tank left in place. TTR Motors will consult with the customer on the type of skin to be applied to the seat base, ranging from solid to stock-style patterns.

Efmon's tank seat cowl, which is a deformed version of the CB-F styling but designed to fit the Monkey 125 chassis perfectly, is superb. The tank seat cowl is owned by Kazuaki Hayashi, president of TTR Motors. The idea was to use the stock tank as an inner tank.

A gimmick FRP tank cap is attached to the tank cover. The cap is held in place by a magnet, so it can be quickly removed to access the factory tank inside when refueling.
The three slits in the side covers of the CB750F, the seat design, and the tail area are all finished similarly to the real thing.
The front fender of the '81 FB-spec (red) demo bike is a stock GROM fender.

The '82 North American version (silver and blue) is also equipped with square blinkers and double horns. Both of these are iconic parts of the CB-F and are a great touch for fans of the CB-F. The front fender is a lowered version of the stock Monkey fender, using stays supplied by Over Racing Projects. The Monkey 125 has an abundance of aftermarket parts, so you should be able to create your own "F-Mon".

The price of such an interesting "Efmon" exterior kit has not yet been determined.
Mr. Kazuaki Hayashi, president of TTR Motors, says that he did not have time to think about it because it was completed just before this Tokyo Motorcycle Show.

Efmon will continue to appear at each meeting after the MC show

Efmon completed on the day the show was brought in. Next to Mr. Hayashi is, you guessed it, Razor Ramon RG.
We hope you will stop by the "RG Touring Club" booth at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show and check out the actual vehicle.

After this show, the F-MON demo bike will be exhibited at the 5th Oozaru Gathering (Monkey 125 Meeting) in Yokohama on March 30 (Sat), CB Fan Meeting 2024 at Sodegaura Forest Raceway on April 7 (Sun), and TTR Motors itself will hold "CB Jiken" at Azumi Shrine in Tochigi Prefecture on May 4 (Midori no Hi). TTR Motors itself plans to exhibit at the CB Jiken, which will be held on May 4 (Midori no hi) at Azumi Shrine (motorcycle shrine) in Tochigi Prefecture. Depending on the feedback from visitors at each event, such a price should be decided soon.
