Interest in the Superstock-based FIM Endurance World Cup continues to rise with the addition of Teamracing85 to the 2024 line-up.

Based in Fontenay-le-Comte, France, Teamracing85 contested the EWC events at Le Mans and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in 2023.

It is now planning to expand its EWC participation to include the season-deciding Bol d’Or at Circuit Paul Ricard for what it hopes will be a three-event FIM Endurance World Cup campaign.

For 2024, Teamracing85 has secured the services of the highly experienced Italian Christian Napoli, while also recruiting three other new riders, the French trio of Johann Flammann, Hugo Girardet and Thibaud Schmidt.

The team will run a new Kawasaki ZX-10R on Dunlop tyres with testing for the upcoming season planned in Spain next month. Dunlop is the official tyre supplier to the FIM Endurance World Cup.

By recruiting Christian Napoli, Teamracing85 can count on a rider with considerable EWC pedigree at both Formula EWC and Superstock level. Indeed, the 36-year-old moved up to the Formula EWC category with Motobox Kremer Racing in 2023 when he switched from Kawasaki to Yamaha machinery. But he’s now preparing for his return to the Superstock division and to Kawasaki power.

m very happy to be part of Teamracing85, ready and excited for the season of FIM Endurance World Championship in the Superstock class, Napoli said. I want to thank this group of passionate people who immediately made me feel at home. Our season will start in less than a month with the first winter tests in Spain.

In announcing a riding quartet, Teamracing85 is set to take advantage of the 2024 regulation change that permits Superstock squads to enter four race riders in the EWC’s two 24-hour events, the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans and the Bol d’Or at Circuit Paul Ricard.
