Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the organiser of the 24 Heures Motos, has revealed the support races that will complete the not-to-be-missed FIM Endurance World Championship season-opening weekend timetable from 18-21 April.

In addition to the all-action EWC counter, the 47th 24 Heures Motos event will include support races from the FIM Sidecar World Championship, PMR Bridgestone Cup and the KlassGP championship.

The ultra-spectacular FIM Sidecar World Championship returns after one year away with races for riders and their highly-skilled passengers scheduled on Friday and Saturday.

Created by Stéphane Paulus and Kevin Simonato, the Handi Free Riders Association celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024 and brings the PMR Bridgestone Cup back to Le Mans for its annual visit.

Some 30 riders, including approximately 10 from Italy, will compete in two separate categories, 600 and 1000. Riders are paraplegic, have lower or upper limb amputations or no longer have mobility in one of their two arms. Their motorcycles are adapted according to their physical challenges. Races take place on Friday and Saturday.

The KlassGP championship will entertain fans attending the 24 Heures Motos for the first time. Recreating the spirit of Grand Prix motorcycle racing from the 2000s, riders can use 2-stroke-engined 125cc or 250cc GP machinery. Le Mans is the first of four events and the Circuit Bugatti will host two races during the EWC weekend.
