The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of Kawasaki's Ninja brand, and the Ninja ZX-10R 40th Anniversary Edition will be released in Japan in December. In addition to this, several special colors are also being introduced overseas, and we would like to introduce them here.
2024 ZX-10RR Winter Test Edition limited to 25 units
It is still fresh in our minds that the ZX-10R, featuring the ZXR colors of yesteryear, made its world premiere at the Mobility Show. Not only this but the 2024-spec Ninja ZX-10RR Winter Test Edition was released in Europe on a limited basis. It wears the colors of the ZX-10RR being tested this off-season.
As before, a logo with the Chinese character for "winter" will be placed on the upper cowl and other parts, while the 2024 version will have yellow and gray lines. It will be equipped with Akrapovic silencers and a pair of VIP passes for the WSBK rounds. The price is 33,000 euros (about 35154 USD) and is limited to 25 units.
In the UK, the ZX-10RR was independently launched to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Ninja. It comes in retro colors inspired by the 1990s ZXR and is equipped with an Akrapovic silencer, tandem seat cover, and a smoked screen. The price is 26,599 pounds (about 33751 USD) and is limited to 40 units.
Globally, including Japan, the Ninja ZX-10R 40th Anniversary Edition will be released on December 23 in a non-limited edition. The coloring motif is based on the 1989 ZXR series, which is not "Ninja," but the ZX-R, a modern version of the ZXR, is a good match.
The price is (approx.) 16868 USD.
