The ZX-6R, which underwent a model change overseas this summer, is a middle super sport equipped with a Euro 5 compliant 637cc parallel four-cylinder engine. The front mask has been changed from the previous model to be more intrepid, and the overall styling has been redesigned. The new Ninja ZX-6R will finally be available in Japan in a 2024 model, and at the same time, the Ninja ZX-6R 40th Anniversary Edition will be released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Ninja.
The 40th Anniversary edition features the familiar lime green, white, and blue layered colors of the ZXR series. In addition to graphics reminiscent of the ZXR's activities in the 80s~90s, the frame is painted silver, and the wheels lime green, giving the bike a ZXR replica style down to the smallest detail. The logo on the tail cowl was designed in a font that matched the 1989 ZXR, and the Ninja logo on the tank was updated to match the original Ninja. A 40th-anniversary sticker in the style of a champion sticker is affixed to the top of the tank. This asserts the anniversary specifications.
The release date is the same as the standard ZX-6R and other 40th Anniversary editions, Saturday, December 23, 2023, and the price is (approx.) 10598 USD.
The price will be (approx.) 219 USD more than the standard.

The 40th Anniversary Edition was introduced at the same time as the new ZX-6R was introduced in Japan. This is a much-anticipated edition for mid-sport fans.

The logo on the tail cowl has also been changed to a font based on the ZXR series. Every detail has been carefully designed to replicate the ZXR series.

The Ninja logo on the tank has also been refined to closely resemble the original design.

The standard model ZX-6R is to be released at the same time. The ZX-6R underwent its first model change in four years this summer, with new engines and styling.

The 40th Anniversary Edition model is a graphic of the ZXR400R released in 1989. It is a monumental model that represents Kawasaki's racer replicas.
