Honda has introduced a new color for the CT125 Hunter Cub in Thailand. It is the first yellow color for the CT125 and is said to be a tribute to its 1960s livery.

New yellow sunglow in Thailand, yellow in Japan?
The CT125 Hunter Cub's new color, Yellow SunGrow (meaning yellow morning glow), presented in Thailand, is a reproduction of the 1960s livery. From the explanation that it pays homage to the colors of yesteryear, it is probably inspired by the first-generation Hunter Cub C105H.
The C105H is a memorable model that was first marketed in the U.S. in 1961 under the name CA100T Trail 50, and then in Japan as the Hunter Cub C105H, the first model to bear the Hunter Cub name. In Japan, it is famous for its advertisement with the copy "Ride + Shoot" on a photo of a hunter holding a gun.
The C105H yellow is still in Honda's collection and is similar in image to the CT125 Hunter Cub's yellow sunglow. The yellow is expected to be available in Japan for the 2024 model year, while the silver metallic and red will continue, and the green will be removed from the lineup.
The price is expected to remain at 440,000 yen with no price increase, and the expected release date is December 14. We will bring you further information as soon as it becomes available.
