The Monkey 125, which gained a new 5-speed transmission engine in 2021, is now available in new colors. It is the first 125cc model to feature a checkered seat, replicating the first generation Z50M. This coloring should be a fan favorite.
Yellow is back, and three frame colors are available to match the body.
The Monkey 125, which was revived in 2018 as a 125cc model, features a new 5-speed transmission and a longer-stroke engine for the 2021 model year and complies with the 2020 emission regulations. All colors of the 2023 model year Monkey 125 feature a checkered seat that is unique to the Monkey.
In terms of color variations, the existing Pearl Glitter Ring Blue is discontinued, and Banana Yellow returns. Pearl Nebula Red and Pearl Shining Black will continue, but unlike the 2021 model, the frame and swingarm will also be body-colored.
The most notable color is Pearl Nebula Red, only this color has a red checkered seat upholstery, and the red frame and front forks combine to recreate the original Z50M from 1967. In recent years, similar coloring was used for the 30th anniversary in 1997 and the 50th anniversary model in 2017.
Although 2023 is not a particularly memorable year, the special livery should be able to compete with Yamaha's Class 2 moped army. In addition, the price has been kept unchanged at (approx.) 3005 USD, which is a nice setup. The release date will be September 21.

Monkey 125 [HONDA] The previous Pearl Nebula Red model had a black frame and swingarm, but the 2023 model also painted the frame red, bringing it closer to the color of the original Z50M.

Monkey 125 [HONDA] Yellow was discontinued for the 2022 model year but is back for 2023. The tank is the reverse of the pearl nebula red with white and silver.

Monkey 125 [HONDA] The 2022 model in Pearl Shining Black is now a continuation of the color scheme, but with a checkered seat and a silver-and-white tank, giving it a different feel.

The Monkey Z50M was released in 1967. Although the Monkey had existed before this, it is famous as the first model released in Japan. The handlebars and seat could be folded down for on-board use.

This is the Monkey 50th Anniversary, released in 2017. It is the last 50cc commemorative vehicle, and like the 2023 model, it reproduces the livery of the 1967 Monkey Z50M.
