Vespa GTV Model Description
Orthodox style, even sportier.
Since its birth in 2006, the Vespa GTV has represented the purest classic of the Vespa series, thanks to the adoption of the Faro Basso (low headlamp) mounted above the front fender and the return of iconic model styling features such as the bare metal pipe handlebars.
The new Vespa GTV combines a further evolution of sportiness and the significant styling updates adopted in the new GTS series, along with fine details and quality is taken to an even higher level than before.
In the center of the front shield is a sporty tie with a horizontal slit decorated with an orange border. The five-spoke wheels are also a new design, painted matte black with orange graphics on the rims.
The headlight unit is fully LED, including the distinctive fender lights. The new instrumentation is also connected to the handlebars by a unique bracket and sits inside a small but aggressive top fairing inspired by the racing world. The shape maintains the elegant circular form but is fully digital and can take full advantage of the additional functions offered by the Vespa MIA connection system, which is available as an optional accessory.
Another distinctive part of the Vespa GTV is the racing-style single-style seat and rear seat fairing that matches the body color, reminiscent of the fairings on racing Vespas. The seats are approved for use on public roads for two people and feature a technical pattern and edges with contrasting orange stitching and horizontal stripes that accentuate the features and provide a relaxed and comfortable seating experience. The cover is an optional feature and is easily removable.
High-tech equipment package
The Vespa GTV offers a natural riding position, comfort, and complete control over the vehicle thanks to Vespa's unique ergonomics. The large-body touring performance has been improved.
Also, unlike conventional models, the new model features a keyless system that can be started without inserting the key. A practical knob is equipped on the inside of the leg shield, which is activated simply by pressing and turning this knob to the ON position. Starting the engine is done as usual by pressing the button located on the right-side handlebar switch box.
The new digital LCD instrumentation can display a wealth of driving information (maximum speed, average speed, instantaneous fuel consumption, average fuel economy, cruising range, battery voltage) and, with the optional Vespa MIA system, can also display calls, messages, and voice notifications.
In addition, USB ports are standard in the storage compartment inside the leg shield. On the safety front, ASR electronic traction control and antilock braking system (ABS) are standard.
