While Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team is preparing to defend its FIM Endurance World Championship title advantage in next month’s 44th Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race, Chromeburner-RAC41-Honda heads into the summer as the leading Dunlop Superstock Trophy competitor.
The French team moved to the top of the FIM Endurance World Cup points table after Jonathan Hardt, Chris Leesch and Wayne Tessels combined to finish fourth in last month’s 24H SPA EWC Motos.
And the result could have been even better had it not been for a fall from Leesch in the 17th hour of the EWC’s Belgian round while the Luxembourg rider was battling for the category lead.
The Bol d’Or 24-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard from 14-17 September forms the deciding round of the 2023 FIM Endurance World Cup. Click HERE to view the provisional standings after two races.
