「Owners Review」To Be Honest, What do you think of the Suzuki “Address 125”

Motorcycle & Industry

From the Webike Community's My Bike, the "Owner Review Summary" introduces various motorcycles based on the voices of owners who actually ride or have ridden them. This time, here's what the owners have to say about    Suzuki「Address 125」.

To be honest, the Suzuki "Address 125" is this kind of bike!

Suzuki's Address brand of moped scooters, including those from the 2-stroke engine era, is known for being fast commuting scooters. With a compact chassis and a powerful engine that is strong against dash starts, it is a model that fits well with titles such as "fast commuter" or "strongest on congested roads". However, the "commuter rapid" element of the model has been gradually reduced as it underwent model changes, such as the conversion to a 4-stroke engine.

And the most recent model change, for 2022, is a major change of direction in its character, from Address 110 to Address 125.

While the previous model gave the impression of a compact chassis and a powerful engine that is strong at the start, the new Address will have an overall rounded design that is likely to be widely accepted by men and women of all ages.

In terms of ride quality, the new model pursues a comfortable ride while maintaining a stress-free acceleration performance for commuting to and from work which has earned it a solid reputation in the past.

The new Address 125 is the result of such a change of course, and the new core concept is the comfort of two riders. The flat seat and foldable tandem step provide comfort for the passenger, while the flat floorboard with its large surface area ensures the rider's comfort as well.

The Address 125 is an active vehicle for daily commuting to and from work, but if it is so comfortable for two people, wouldn't it be interesting to go out with your partner on an occasional holiday on the Address 125?

Address 125: Owner's Review

Here are some of the most impressive voices among the many reviews.

Mitsu-kun

Motive for purchase, intended use, and comparative models Purchased as a commuter leg on the recommendation of the manager.
Advantages/Satisfactory points I ride it for touring and commuting and am satisfied with the surprisingly good fuel economy, more than 50 km per liter.
I drive on bypass roads! It handles well and is very stable.
If you work hard, you can drive 300 km without refueling.
Disadvantages/Dissatisfactory points The price is cheaper than rival vehicles, which is attractive. Lights and lamps are not LED.
ABS is not equipped.
The vibration at idling is too loud.
Advice for prospective buyers No breakdown experience, low maintenance cost, and since the address 125 is no longer sold, buy a new or used one if it has low mileage and is in good condition! I think it is a Suzuki masterpiece. If you use it as your footwear, you will not regret it.

Bakusō hebi Tsuguru

Motive for purchase, intended use, and comparative models Commuting, clogs, shopping
On the occasion of the Corona disaster, I wanted clogs and purchased them.
Advantages/Satisfactory points The noise of the cell motor and exhaust is quiet enough to easily go out late at night or early in the morning.
The start dash is quite fast. It can run at 80 km/h, which is more than enough for my needs.
Forced-air cooling means that air is blown by a fan even in traffic jams. The motorcycle has wide legroom and a large cargo hook, which is convenient. The seat is long enough to accommodate two passengers and a large amount of luggage. The rear carrier is thick and sturdy.
Disadvantages/Dissatisfactory points Met-in space is small.

The height does not seem to be a problem since a flat seat was selected, but the width and depth are not good enough to fit some of the full faces that I own, and they do not close.

There is no front basket. I'm seriously thinking of using 3M double-sided tape to attach a basket.

The body is still too big. I don't have any problem when I'm riding, but when I park my bike in a narrow space, sometimes there is not enough space. It's as big as a Neihan. It's also long because it has a box.

Advice for prospective buyers The rear box is necessary because there is no front basket and the met-in is small, so the storage capacity is not that high. However, it can be loaded not only on the rear carrier but also on the tandem seat and under the feet, so it can carry quite a lot. It may not look like much, but it is very convenient if you attach a box to it.

J.TAKAHIRA99

Motive for purchase, intended use, and comparative models Specialized in commuting. The moped I used to drive was sufficient, but it was too long for me to ride more than 10 km one way.
In addition, I had enough money in my pocket due to the maturity of my home contents insurance.
Advantages/Satisfactory points The style was NG until I saw the actual vehicle, but now I am satisfied with the styling. It doesn't look like other motorbikes.
Fewer people are riding it. Wide leg room. There is plenty of room for a flat-foot space. The most decisive factor is that I can put a kerosene tank in the foot space. PCX cannot do it.
And the initial cost is very low. The actual vehicle is more than the price. It runs better than I expected. It is light and easy to handle. It is not much different from a moped.
Fuel consumption at the time of break-in 1,000 km always exceeds 40 km per liter. The mileage is about ~L45km. This is also the same as the previous moped. It is a good surprise.
The engine has little friction, and it feels like it is running on the motor. It is also quiet.
Disadvantages/Dissatisfactory points Space under the seat. Flat seat design but will not accommodate a full face. A real box is required.
The flat seat model makes it slightly less legroom.
My height is 172cm. One foot fits perfectly.
With both feet, half of the soles of the feet will fit.
I don't mind.
Advice for prospective buyers Anyway, it is inexpensive and recommended for those who are only commuting to work. It runs very well.
Don't expect it to start off fast, but it has a lot of torque from about 30 km on. The torquey ride from over 30 km is very attractive.

Although the Address changed its route to a rounded design with the model change for 2022, a sibling model, the Avenis 125, which uses the same engine and body, was actually launched at the same time. Compared to the Address 125, the Avenis 125 has an edgier design, and riders who know the Address from the past may feel more at home on this model.

Incidentally, the ECU settings of the engines of the Address 125 and the Avenis 125 are different, with the Avenis 125 being slightly more acceleration-oriented. Also with regard to the chassis, the front fork settings are different due to its sportier character.
Compared to Address 125, the front fork of the Avenis 125 has a higher spring rate and a different damping characteristic.
