Honda has announced a new color model of its CRF450R competition bike. While the specifications remain unchanged from the previous model, the graphics have been redesigned to create a sportier look. The new model is priced at (approx.) 7299 USD and will be released on September 25 (Monday). The annual production volume is planned to be 50 units.
Extreme Red continues the improvements of the 23rd model year.
The CRF450R, launched in 2002, is a competition-specific vehicle that has been at the forefront of motocross/enduro competitions such as the FIM Motocross World Championship and AMA.
Although it has been in production for a long time, updates are constantly being made, and in 2009 it was converted to injection. For the most recent 2023 model year, the throttle bore has been reduced in diameter and the air funnel has been changed, further increasing the fighting power of the previous model.
The only change in the 2024 model announced for sale this time is the graphics, with the base color being Extreme Red. The wheels are blacked out, and the seats have been revised to the same red as the body color.
Sales are by pre-order only. Orders will be accepted from Thursday, June 15 to Saturday, September 30, and will be priced at (approx.) 7299 USD.
The CRF450R is a top-class motocross competitor. In 2018, the lineup also included the CRF450L, which can be driven on public roads.
