The Honda CBX1000 is one of the very few examples of a production vehicle with a parallel 6-cylinder engine, and when it comes to air-cooled engines, it is a one-of-a-kind machine. The CBX1000, which still boasts strong popularity, was fully customized by BITO R&D, which has a reputation for manufacturing high-quality, top-quality parts, and was exhibited at the Osaka MC Show as a demo vehicle.

As BITO specializes in elegant customization, the CBX was carefully customized so as not to spoil the originality of the precious CBX. In other words, instead of using flashy parts to give the CBX an unrealistic appearance, the atmosphere of the stock CBX was preserved as much as possible while incorporating modern top-quality parts without any sense of discomfort, in the usual BITO style.

Around the engine where beauty, power, and performance coexist.

There are no major changes in the appearance of the engine itself. The beautiful shape of the stock engine has been preserved, but the intake and exhaust systems have been redesigned. The CBX's signature triplex2 FCR layout was carefully installed, and the beautifully curved, hand-bent full-titanium exhaust system was used to exhaust the engine. The six exhaust pipes are lined up in a row, which is only possible with a parallel 6-cylinder engine, and is a formative beauty that anyone would find wonderful.

No major changes in engine appearance except for the polished clutch cover. Machined Aluminum Crank Side Cover next to the crankshaft (204 USD approx. including tax) protects the precious engine in case of emergency. Inside, the engine is tuned to 1130cc and armed with a φ67mm forged piston kit and chromoly forged connecting rods.

The engine appears to be suspended from the frame. Engine Mount Set(410 USD approx. including tax) is made of very elaborate machined aluminum. It is one of the essential parts to improve chassis rigidity for CBX without under pipes. The end faces are not simply flat but have convex ribs to improve aesthetics and rigidity. The edges are not beveled at 45 degrees but have unique rounded corners.

Six exhaust pipes are neatly lined up, but you can catch a glimpse of their equal length due to a slight difference in bending toward the assembly area. It must have been extremely difficult to equalize the pipe lengths, even though the six exhaust pipes are lined up neatly from all angles. The Oil Cooler Kit (983 USD approx. including tax) visible on top of the engine is a 9-inch, 13-stage kit. The greatest feature of this kit is that it is designed to suppress the occurrence of cracks by using a rubber band fixation system, which is very rare.

Very high-quality JB-POWER Titanium hand-bent full exhaust system (2457 USD approx. including tax), the demo motorcycle was equipped with a standard type silencer (megaphone type is also available). (A megaphone type is also available.) There is also a JB-POWER Titanium Hand Bent Exhaust System Double of the same quality (3277 USD approx. including tax). The beautiful welding of the tailpiece and the treatment of the edges are of a high quality that will astonish those who know what they are talking about.

A view from the rear of the engine, where the six FCR Carburetors (3138 USD approx. including tax) are very prominent. To avoid interference with the knee during knee grip while avoiding the cam chain in the center, the triple carburetors are mounted at different angles in a special structure.
The constant velocity joint in the center to synchronize the carburetors at different angles is unfortunately not visible without removing the tank.
In addition to the Black anodized aluminum body (3358-9 USD approx. including tax), a CRS Carburetor (2498 USD approx. including tax) is also available to match the times.

The front area has been totally replaced.

The front fork, wheel, brake rotor, brake caliper, fender, and axle shaft have been replaced, and it has undergone a major modification that makes it difficult to find genuine parts. However, the inverted fork and flashy color anodized aluminum are not used, and the finish of the Bito style is that it has a very calm atmosphere.

The front forks are  Φ41 Special front forks (from 1638 USD approx. including tax), but the outer color is silver to give it an OEM feel. 
The GPZ900R's bolt-ons were originally designed to be installed on the GPZ900R, so they are equipped with electroless nickel-plated hollow chromoly axle shafts,  320mm diameter 6-pod cast iron brake discs  (615 USD approx. per side including tax) magnesium forged "MAGTAN (mag forged) JB4" wheels, original calipers( (803 USD approx. per side including tax), and caliper supports (409 USD approx. including tax) should be in line with this.

The demo motorcycle is a special spec with the front area completely replaced, but BTO offers a variety of products for CBX, so usually you can just use CBX-specific products.

The light surroundings also look casual, but in reality, they are of ridiculously luxurious specifications! The stem, headlight stay, blinker stay, and other parts are all one-offs not sold on the market. The actual specifications are very luxurious, but the good sense of design makes them look very comfortable.

The brake side also has a calm finish that does not look like a large custom motorcycle.
The master cylinder emphasizes the atmosphere of the time. The master cylinder is an AP Racing (AP Lockheed) (860 USD including tax), which is reluctant to use
The brake hoses have been replaced with stainless steel mesh, but the old-fashioned compact fittings and black hose covers give the motorcycle an OEM look.

The view around the handlebars is genuine, not like a fully custom vehicle. However, if you look closely, you can see the machined stem (variable offset type) and the AP Racing master cylinder.

The demo motorcycle was impressive in its own right, but the highlight was the new aluminum swing arm. This swing arm is not yet in the lineup, and we can only hope that it will be commercialized soon.

This is the new swing arm. It features sharp edges and JB-POWER engraved on the side. The chain case is a special product that differs from the stock one, and will probably be sold as a set with the swingarm. The shape of the stays and other parts are very one-off, so there may be some specification changes when the product is released.

Here is a close-up of the chain puller, which is made entirely of machined aluminum, including the slider block, and has a quick-release design. The block does not fall off or come off when the axle shaft is pulled out, and there is no need to tighten the axle nut, the same construction as endurance racers.

Looking back at the overall view again. The CBX has a strong image of two suspensions, but this is a later model with mono suspension.
By removing the large OEM front cowl, the CBX has the shape that everyone imagines.
