At the Osaka Motorcycle Show, Yamaha displayed an XSR900 with production accessories. The vehicle was fitted with the red and white Authentic exterior as a reference exhibit, and it was announced that it would be available in limited quantities.

Authentic red and white exterior is the image of the 1983 RZ250R

Three fully customized versions of the new XSR900, fully remodeled for 2022, were on display at the Osaka Motorcycle Show and attracted a lot of attention. The most eye-catching of the three was a vehicle equipped with a red and white exterior set, reproducing Yamaha's traditional color scheme, even the tank was painted.

The image is similar to that of the RZ250R released in 1983 with a bikini cowl, and further back, the tuning fork logo on the tank and yellow number plate indicates that the color scheme is rooted in the racers of the 1970s and 1980s. It will be sold under the product name Authentic Sports Blood Line exterior set.

The set includes a newly developed front cowl and seat cowl, front fender, fuel tank & fuel tank top cover, and side covers, painted of course. It would be a very rare set to have the genuine Yamaha tuning fork mark on the tank.

The product is by Y's Gear and handled only by YSP stores. The price is 220,000 yen including tax, and the product will be available in limited quantities in June.
Owners of the current XSR900 should hurry up and make a reservation!
