Kevin Manfredi is preparing for a 2023 FIM Endurance World Cup title challenge with half an eye on progressing to the FIM Endurance World Championship’s Formula EWC category “as soon as possible”.

The 28-year-old will continue to chase Superstock category honours for Yamaha-powered Wójcik Racing Team along with team-mates Kamil Krzemień, Marek Szkopek and Danny Webb.

Having scored two Superstock category pole positions on the #777 entry in 2022, Manfredi is hoping those qualifying performances can be transferred into strong EWC race results in 2023.

Although in terms of results the 2022 season was a bit unlucky for us because we deserved far more, but throughout the year we were not only very fast, but we also created a unique team together, Manfredi said. The last race, Bol d’Or, was probably the best one I rode in the FIM EWC World Cup [only for a late mechanical issue to rule out a podium finish].

During the upcoming year we want to win and at the same time I would like to advance to EWC class as soon as possible. The passion, determination and commitment of the entire team impresses me so much. Since the last race, we have been in close contact with the team manager and are working together to develop our project for the 2023 season.

Wójcik Racing Team head Grzegorz Wójcik said: Kevin is a really special member of our team. Not only is he very fast, but he is also incredibly engaged in everything that happens both on the track and behind the scenes, while staying in almost daily contact with the manager of the 777 team, Sławek Kubzdyl. We greatly appreciate this contribution and are confident that together with Kevin and his team-mates we will create a winning package in the Superstock class.

In addition, the Italian will contest the FIM Enel MotoETM World Championship.
