The color order plan that has been available in recent years for the CB400 SuperFour and NM-4 is now available for the CM300 (Rebel) in China, to our surprise. A total of eight colors can be selected for the tank and frame color combination, but this is all that is needed to create a fresh image.
An unprecedented combination of frame color orders, no plans in Japan
The Chinese CM300 is the Japanese equivalent of the Rebel 250 and is a sibling of the same model with the same liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC 286cc engine. 2023 CM300 models have already been released in three colors in China, and a new color order plan has been announced.
This includes a choice of four colors for the fuel tank: red, white, gray, or matte black, combined with two colors for the frame and rim stripes: red and gray. A total of eight colors can be ordered. The front and rear fenders and wheel colors are fixed in black, but the image changes with each color.
In the past, the CB400 Super Four had the plan to combine body and wheel colors, and the NM4 had 11 colors to choose from, but it is rare to have a choice of frame colors like the CM300. The frame color of the Rebel series, which until now has only existed in black, may be painted in various colors in the future.
The price is set at 35,200 yuan (about 5170 USD) for the color order plan, about 106 USD higher than the 34,500 yuan (about 5065 USD) for the STD CM300. In Japan, the 2023 model of the Rebel 250 will be released in December, and the color order plan is not currently planned.
