Fans attending the 24H SPA EWC Motos at the legendary Belgian track in June won’t be short of a great place to sit.

Work is ongoing to construct a new grandstand and spectator terrace opposite the Endurance pits located along the section of track linking La Source and Eau Rouge.

Once completed in mid-April, the new facility will increase Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps’ spectator seating capacity to 16,000.

Amaury Bertholomé, the venue’s CEO, said: I am delighted once again to be able to offer modernised infrastructure to accommodate spectators within the Endurance area. With the works to be completed during the winter break of 2022-2023, the circuit continues its momentum in regards to keeping its facility at the top of capacity and at a global level of excellence. Arrangements or layouts in the paddocks are also part of the investments needed to host our event and sporting competition organisers in optimal conditions.

Works to safeguard the circuit and its infrastructure from the effects of heavy rain are also being carried out.

Meanwhile, the second running of the 24H SPA EWC Motos counts as round two of the 2023 FIM Endurance World Championship and is scheduled to take place from 16-18 June. Ticket information is available by clicking HERE.
