Honda has announced the launch of the 2023 model year of its large road sport CBR650R and naked model CB650R.
There are no major changes in specifications or equipment, and the engine has been modified to comply with 2020 emission regulations. A new color, Pearl Glare White, has been added to the CBR650R lineup. The CB650R will not have a new color, but the color scheme of its detailed parts will be changed.
The CBR650R will be released on February 16, 2023, at a price of approx. 8275 USD (Grand Prix Red: approx. 8525 USD) and 8520 USD (Matte Ballistic Black Metallic: approx. 7845 USD) for the CB650R.

The CBR650R and CB650R models to be released in 2019 both share the same components, but the CBR650R is a full-cowl sport bike that follows the design of the CBR-R series, while the CB650R is a neo-retro sport naked common to the CB-R series. For the 2021 model year, both have undergone a minor change with improvements such as an inverted fork and the addition of a USB port. The 2023 model year will see no major changes from the previous model year, but the engine has been modified to comply with 2020 emission regulations. As a result, both the CBR650R and CB650R have increased body weight by 2.0 kg and reduced maximum torque by 0.1 kg-f. The maximum torque rpm has been increased from 8500 rpm to 8500 rpm and the maximum torque rpm has been increased from 8500 to 8500 rpm.

The color variation lineup includes「Pearl Glare White」a new color that accentuates the CBR650R's sophisticated look. The CB650R continues to be available in two new colors: Matte Jeans Blue Metallic and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic. However, the color scheme of the fenders, suspension springs, and other parts has been changed to pursue a higher-quality feel.
Both models will be released on February 16, 2023 (Thursday).
The CBR650R will be priced at approx. 8275 USD (Grand Prix Red: approx. 8525 USD), while the CB650R will be available in Matte Jeans Blue Metallic for approx. 8520 USD and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic for approx. 7845 USD.
