We have caught rumors of an additional variation to the popular GB350, which is still the top-selling model. Its appearance is a veil of mystery and is currently under investigation. Although it is a bit early to tell, we have tried to predict possible developments.
A normally licensed version of the Hawk 11 is expected to be a café racer version.
As of December 5, the GB350 is on the order suspension list, awaiting the announcement of the 2023 model that complies with the 2020 emission regulations. According to our research, the new GB350/S will be released after Golden Week in 2023.
Furthermore, we are informed that a derivative model of the GB350 is coming in 2024, and will likely be announced in the fall of 2023. Although the content of the model will be unknown, here we predict a Mark 2 version, featuring the rocket cowl fitted on the GB400TT Mark 2, which was launched in 1985.
There is also a possibility that it will be in the fashionable scrambler style, and with a displacement of 350, it could be segregated from the CL250 and CL500. However, since the information indicates that the base model will be a 350, it will probably be different from the rumored GB500.
I can expect the first unveiling at the Tokyo Motor Show (renamed the Japan Mobility Show) in October 2023 at the earliest. I will keep you posted as soon as we receive further information.
