To be honest, Dax 125 is this kind of bike.
Honda focuses on the 125cc class, which can be ridden with an AT-only moped license that can be obtained in as little as two days.
In recent years, the company has introduced a series of "reissued" models, such as the Super Cub C125 and CT125 Hunter Cub, which are highly hobbyist models that are distinctly different from business models. The Dax 125 is the last of these models, and its motif is the Dax Honda ST50 that appeared in the 1969s.
You might think that we can differentiate ourselves by offering only so many 125cc models, but this is a big difference.
The Dax 125 is long front to back thanks to its steel plate pressed frame, which is also a feature of its appearance.
The motorcycle's name, Dax, comes from the German dog breed Dachshund. It is a modern revival of the long-bodied, short-legged fanny style.
Moreover, what was done to revive the Dax in the modern era was to convert them to 125 cc. In other words, it can now carry two people. The modern Dax 125 takes advantage of its long chassis to enhance its two-seater characteristics.
As a result, it has the "best" two-seater characteristics in Honda's moped class. In fact, when riding a moped with two people, you can feel a sense of security from the chassis and suspension.
When two people try to ride on a small Class 2 moped, the weight distribution on the front and rear wheels inevitably change, making it difficult to ride.
Such riding difficulties could be solved if the rear shock preload could be adjusted, but unfortunately, there are very few such models, and the latest CT125 Hunter Cub is finally equipped with a five-step preload adjustment mechanism.
On the other hand, the Dax 125 probably has an exquisite front-rear weight distribution. Whether riding alone or with two people, there are a few occasions when I want to adjust the preload, and even with two people on the bike, I can turn at intersections with ease.
If you want a moped two model that is easy for two people to ride, as of the end of 2022, there is no better bike than the Dax!

The gasoline tank capacity is 3.8 liters, the smallest among Honda's four minis, but instead of giving up cruising range, the weight of the vehicle is reduced and good fuel economy is achieved. The practicality of the vehicle is sufficient, so I will fill up the gas tank frequently. It is longer than GROM and MONKEY, has good straight-line stability, and has a low center of gravity and mass centralization thanks to the fact that everything except the engine is contained in a highly rigid frame. The seat can comfortably accommodate two riders, and the flat seat shape allows for an overwhelming degree of freedom in the riding position. The front and rear suspension is designed with two riders in mind and provides a good feel for the rider's body. Thanks to this, the ride quality is also excellent. Thanks to the rotary 4-speed manual transmission, which is similar to that of the Cub, it is easy to drive without hesitation. The muffler sound is one word that describes the quietness of the vehicle. Starting the engine early in the morning or late at night is not scary at all. Since it is a cub type, the exhaust sound is the same as that of a postal service motorcycle ^ ^. The new engine is more suitable for low and medium speeds, but the acceleration power at the start, combined with the lightweight chassis (107 kg), is sufficient even with the standard engine. |
