Kawasaki has announced the release of the 2023 Z250 model. Based on the Ninja 250 engine, the Z250 is a naked model, and like the Ninja 250, its engine specifications have been changed to comply with emission regulations.
It will be available in one color, green and black. It will go on sale on February 15, 2023, at a price of (approx.) 4725 USD. The price is (about) 245 USD lower than the Ninja 250.
Super Naked with the common「Sugomi」design of the Z series still alive and well
The Z250, first introduced in 2023, is a naked model that shares its engine, chassis, and other components with the Ninja 250. The Z250 offers the same easy-to-manage power as the Ninja, and its styling is consistent with the Sugomi design of Kawasaki's Z series of sport-naked bikes in various displacement bands.
Like the Ninja, the new model complies with the latest emission regulations (2020 emission regulations), resulting in a 2PS reduction in maximum engine output to 35ps at 12500rpm and a 0.1kg-m reduction in torque to 2.2kg-m at 10500rpm. A new color scheme, Candy Lime Green x Metallic Spark Black, will be added to the color lineup. The graphic is a black-based body with a bright lime green insert.
It will be released on February 15, 2023, at a price of 638,000 yen, the same day as the Ninja. The price is set at (approx.) 245 USD lower than Ninja due to the cowl-less design, but (approx.) 205 USD more than the previous model.
