The model introduced this time is Honda「HAWK11」and the owner is "FoolishGreen user".
Honda's neo-classic HAWK11 was first unveiled at the 2022 Osaka Motorcycle Show. Its launch will be on Thursday, September 29, 2022, and it is about time to see it around town. FoolishGreen was quick to post the first impressions to the Webike community as well. We're very curious to see what the undisciplined owner has to say about it!
The classic rocket cowl is the main feature of the HAWK11. Of course, this was also the point of purchase for FoolishGreen. And the thumping sound of the 1082cc big parallel twin was the reason why he bought it. Sharing basic components with the Africa Twin and Rebel 1100, the HAWK11 looks like a road sports bike, but it is fresh in the sense that it offers a thumping sound.
Satisfaction points are the slim chassis, pulse, and lightness. The compact engine is easy to maneuver and the footing is comfortable without feeling the displacement of more than a liter. Conversely, negative factors are the engine's heat, the lack of a helmet holder as standard equipment, and the weight of the throttle. The weight of the throttle is a surprising point.
And the rocket cowl has a great impact, but the comment about this is that it should be seen in person rather than in pictures. The cowl with its complex surface structure can be appreciated 100% only when seen in 3D, right?
If you fall in love with its appearance, it may become a wonderful partner that you don't even mind the negative elements.
The engine is a torquey parallel twin derived from the Africa Twin and Rebel 1100. The uniquely positioned round mirrors and separator handles are reminiscent of old-school café style, while the FRP rocket cowl is a modern design that mixes straight and curved lines.
Just released, the HAWK11 is available in two colors: pearl hawkeye blue in the photo and graphite black with a silver cowl.

Motive for purchase
Distinctive rocket cowl. 1100cc parallel-twin engine.
I wanted to make a powerful thumping sound.
Advantages
The body is so compact and slim that it is hard to believe that it is 1100cc.
Even with the standard exhaust system, the throttle can be opened wide enough to enjoy the thump-thump-thump sound.
The lightweight chassis is easy to maneuver.
Disadvantages
The engine is only 1100cc, but the heat from the engine is quite amazing. Midsummer may be impossible.
Why is a helmet holder not standard equipment?
The throttle is also heavy for a throttle-by-wire system.
Address to prospective buyers
The cowl molding is better seen in person, not in pictures!
If you want the full electronics of today, you might want to go for something else.
