Honda has officially unveiled the new CB750 Hornet at the Intermot show in Germany.
It is powered by the already revealed 91.8 PS parallel twin-cylinder 755cc engine and comes in street-fighter style.
Luxurious features such as full electronic control and advanced interfaces were also revealed. We would like to inform you of the details here.

Debut as the successor to the European version of the CB600F HornetCurrently no introduction to Japan

The CB750 Hornet's direct roots are in the Hornet 600, launched in 1998 and marketed in Europe as the CB600F Hornet. As the name " hornet" means, the style is characterized by the volume around the tail, and the 250 is still a very popular model in the used market today.

The news that the CB750 Hornet will be revived for the first time in a long time has caused a stir among motorcycle enthusiasts in Japan, but the information is that it will not be introduced in Japan at this time. This is because the CB750 Hornet is positioned as an evolutionary version of the CB600F Hornet, which evolved independently in Europe after its domestic sales ended.

As already announced, the engine is a 755cc engine with a parallel two-cylinder unicam SOHC head, producing 91.8 PS at 9500 rpm. It uses a 270-degree crankshaft for superior traction performance, and its output characteristics emphasize balance rather than power.

The intake system uses an electronically controlled throttle and is fully equipped with three riding modes, three-stage adjustable traction control, engine brake adjustment, and wheelie control.

Lightweight steel diamond frame with SFF-BP inverted front fork

The new CB750 Hornet's frame is a steel diamond frame finished to a unit weight of only 16.6 kg (18.5 kg for the CB650R). The vehicle's weight is kept at 190 kg, a figure that is close to the MT-07's 184 kg. The front fork is an SFF-BP with a diameter of 41 mm. By splitting the roles of the damper on one side and the spring on the other, this mechanism improves responsiveness and ride comfort, and also contributes to weight reduction.

The 5-inch full-color TFT screen offers a choice of four different displays for speed and engine RPM.
In addition, the HSVCS Honda Smartphone Voice Control System allows users to connect their smartphones via Bluetooth to control phone calls, music playback, navigation, and more.
