I am Kohtaro, Webike Offroad Manager.
Dirt Freak has a new detergent! There are many detergents for off-road vehicles in the world.
This detergent is a latecomer from a manufacturer specializing in off-road vehicle parts, so many of you may have wondered if they put a lot of effort into it. Many of you may have wondered if they put a lot of effort into making this detergent.
I'm sending you one for Webike Plus so you can wash it! So I got a sample to check out!
What kind of detergent?
Removes tough mud stains
In the development process, they focused on removing mud even from clay soil, which is the hardest to remove, and achieved this goal. The product contains ingredients specially formulated for mud stains and meets the high demands of off-road riders. In addition to mud, it breaks down and powerfully removes stubborn stains such as oil, grease, and metal powder.
Mechanism that combines cleaning power and safety
It can be used safely without damaging metal parts, plastic parts, rubber, painted surfaces, etc.
Its weak alkalinity makes it gentle to paints, metals, carbon, resins, various seals, etc. In addition, it forms a film on motorcycle surfaces to prevent stains, rust, and corrosion.
In addition, the use of environmentally friendly raw materials makes it possible to discharge wastewater as domestic wastewater.
The lineup includes a 1L bottle in a spray gun bottle and refillable 4L and 20L bottles.
If you try the 1L bottle and like it, you can always buy a refill at a discount!
I actually used it!
Now that's out of the way, let's get down to the actual washing of the motorcycles.
This time, we will wash two motorcycles: an off-road motorcycle that has been in muddy races and an on-road motorcycle that is ridden exclusively on rainy days.
Off-Road Vehicle Edition
It is a sludge since I travel the JNCC Takai Fuji the other day.
How clean will it be?
First, remove any mud that can be removed, using only water.
Once it is somewhat clean, spray it evenly.
Leave it for about 5 minutes after spraying, as it helps to break up and encapsulate dirt.
After letting it sit, scrub and wash with a brush or sponge.
As a basic rule of car washing, the most important thing is to keep the car wet.
If you feel the water is running out, lightly spray it with water and do not let it dry out!
After scrubbing with a brush, etc., rinse it clean. After that, wipe up. Many people finish off the car after rinsing with water, but the level of finish will vary depending on whether or not the car is wiped down, so it is a good idea to wipe down the smallest areas as well. I recommend spraying a spray-type coating agent on the car and wiping it off to clean it & prevent mud from sticking to it the next time it is driven!
Didn't scrub that hard to test the cleaning power, but it's clean!
It feels good to have the white parts, like the seat logo and disc guard, back to normal!
If it can be cleaned to this level in about 30 minutes, isn't it possible?
Mud has gotten into fine scratches and discolored areas, and mud stains on the tires are just a step too far.
This is unavoidable, as too much cleaning power will also increase aggressiveness.
On-road vehicles
I'm in charge of off-road, but I do have an on-road machine! My main use is commuting in the rain lol.
(My main motorcycle, a Cub, loses its ignition in the rain & replicas are less likely to get my body wet in the rain)
I ride only in the rain, so it's a sloppy ride.
The rear area is particularly prone to dirt, partly due to chain lube splatter.
The backs of the fenders and wheels are also dirty! I'm writing about Webike Plus and I'm struck by the dirtiness of my own motorcycle.
However, if I spray it and scrub it a little bit, I can get rid of the dirt.
It cleaned up in no time!
Since it is a Dirt Freak detergent, it is specialized for mud, but it is also effective for oily stains such as chain lube.
It works best when used in conjunction with body shampoo, exclusively for the undercarriage!
Summary
A detergent that's safe to use and cleans both off-road and on-road vehicles! Feels good when your machine is sparkling clean! Using a strong alkaline detergent for professional use is also cosmetically pleasing, but it is safer to buy a detergent specially designed for motorcycles because it often invades aluminum and rubber.
How about buying one for the rainy season when both on-road and off-road vehicles get dirty!
