Look for Post GB350!
Currently, Honda's GB350 has become a smash hit and is about to set a new trend. If I categorize the GB350, would it be a street motorcycle? Some see it as a neo-classic but make no mistake, the street includes elements of that.
Street models are a category that was very popular a long time ago. I thought it had become extinct with the passing of time, but when Honda introduced the GB to Japan, you can see the results. I realized that the latent need was too great.
The streets, which had been quiet, are now dominated and monopolized by GB in the domestic model market. However, if I broaden our view to overseas models, we find many motorcycles that can compete with GB. In this issue, we would like to focus on such post-GB models. I think we can call them "Neo Street".
Street models were once a category unique to Japan. In the future, however, it may become a global trend. In the past, Japanese street models were not just a trend, but an attractive category that was filled with considerable honor. This may be a chance for revival.
