YZF-R25 and YZF-R3 WGP 60th Anniversary Models Featuring the YZF500 are Now Available!

Yamaha Motor will release the facelifted "YZF-R25 ABS" supersport model on May 25. In addition, the "YZF-R25 ABS WGP 60th Anniversary," a limited edition of 240 units in colors commemorating the 60th anniversary of its entry in the World Road Race Championship, will be released on July 12.

The YZF-R3 ABS, a 320cc displacement model, will also release on June 15 in a WGP 60th Anniversary model limited to 240 units.

The 2022 model year will feature engine performance that complies with the Heisei 32 emission regulations, as well as LED flasher lamps on the front and rear. In addition, the YZF-R25 is the first YZF-R25 to feature a quick shifter as an accessory that assists in agile and smooth shifting. Three colors are available: blue, black, and orange.

The "YZF-R25 ABS WGP 60th Anniversary" features Yamaha Racing's traditional livery inspired by the 1980 YZR500, as well as the WGP 60th Anniversary emblem, gold-colored wheels, black-finished brake and clutch levers, and yellow rear suspension springs.

YZF-R3 adds 60th anniversary to its WGP entry

The YZF-R3's 60th anniversary in the WGP also features the same changes as the YZF-R25, including engine performance compliance with the Heisei 32 emission regulations and LED flasher lights front and rear. A quick shifter, which assists the rider in shifting up a gear, is also available as an option.
There are no changes to the regular YZF-R3 model.
