The Suzuka Circuit announced that Kenny Roberts will visit to the 40th Memorial “Coca-Cola” Suzuka 8 hours Endurance Race of the 2016 – 2017 World Endurance Championship final Round that will be held on July 27th (Thu) – 30th (Sun) 2017.
He will perform a demonstration run with Mr. Wes Cooley and Graeme Crosby who have already decided to visit.
In addition, there will be an exhibition event of "GP History" "MEGA MUSEUM" at GP square of Suzuka Circuit, 8 machines will be added including Suzuki GS1000 from Yoshimura, Suzuka 8 Hours' First winner machine.

Born in 1951, from California.
When he participated in the WGP (road race world championship) as factory rider from YAMAHA in 1978, he won the champion for the third consecutive year from that year. He was known with nickname “King ・ Kenny”.
In Suzuka 8 Hours,He participated in 1985 and 1986 for the second consecutive year. In 1985, he teamed up with the all-Japan road race champion, "Tadahiko Taira". It was thought that they would bring the first win over Suzuka 8 Hours in YAMAHA history, but he stopped just before the control line due to machine trouble. Although they were retired the race, it is being handed down as an unforgettable scene that remains in Suzuka 8 Hours history.

Exhibition Event [Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race "Mega" Museum]
During the period of Suzuka 8 Hours, new Yoshimura's machines that legend riders such as Kevin Schwantz demonstrate at Suuzka 8 Hours will exhibited at "MEGA MUSEUM" Suzuka 8 Hours History of the exhibition event held at GP Square.
This is a large-scale exhibition where almost all the machines that are available for display in Japan among those which participated in any race from 1978 to last year’s race regardless of their manufacture or team.
38 vehicles are scheduled to be exhibited at the present time, including 8 vehicles fixed to displayed this time.
