90's style sports model-style graphics! New matte gray color!

The YZF-R7, which will released in Japan in February 2022, is a supersport equipped with a 689cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder engine based on the MT-07. While its middle-class size and light weight make it easy to handle, the YZF-R7 is equipped with a full range of sport riding features such as an assist slipper clutch, inverted forks, and radial-mount calipers. Combined with styling that is in the lineage of the YZF series, this model makes it easy to enjoy supersport riding, even on the race circuit.

The new model to be released this time will have the same equipment, specifications, and price as before, with the main change being a revision to the new colors. The blue color is a racy color that is typical of the YZF series and Yamaha's sports models, and the graphic design of the vehicle name has been changed from the previous model. Black is a color that emphasizes the beauty of the modeling by combining matte and metallic tones, and the graphic design has also been changed. The only new accent color is light gray. The matte gray color, which replaced the white color, features a psychedelic wide-size logo that is reminiscent of 1990s sports models, and the graphics aim for a modern style.

The model will go on sale on Friday, March 15, 2024, for (approx.) 7123 USD, and will be sold exclusively through YSP and Advance dealers nationwide. Annual sales volume is expected to be 700 units.
