Kawasaki has announced the release of the 2023 model year of the Z900, a large sport model.
There are no changes to the specifications, and a new color, Metallic Phantom Silver x Metallic Carbon Gray, has been added.
The price has been increased by (approx.) 150 USD from the previous year's model to (approx.) 7840 USD.
The new model will be released on November 15, 2022, and will be available at Kawasaki Plazas nationwide.
「Sugomi」design intact with the introduction of new colors
The Z series is a super naked series. The Z900 uses a liquid-cooled, parallel DOHC 4-valve, 4-cylinder, 948cc engine with 92kW (125PS)/9,500rpm output and weighs 213kg despite its steel diamond frame. It is slightly smaller and lighter than the high-end Z1000 model.
The design follows the Sugomi design concept, and the oddly shaped headlight gives the motorcycle an awesome appearance, but it also demonstrates high potential in terms of performance thanks to unique electronic controls such as KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and Integrated Riding Mode, as well as advanced features such as a full-color TFT LCD meter and LED lights for all lights, which ensure comfort.
For the 2023 model year, there are no changes in specifications or equipment from the previous model, and the model continues to be treated as eligible for Kawasaki Care service. A new silver-based color, Metallic Phantom Silver and Metallic Carbon Gray has been adopted here. This coloring was previously introduced in Europe in the 2022 model year and features a silver-based body with red accents on the wheels and frame.
The price is (approx.) 7840 USD, up (approx.) 150 USD from the previous model.
