Chasing Comfort: KAWASAKI Ninja H2 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI Ninja H2" custom by Webike community user "TOMTOM". The owner, now in his late 60s, bought this bike as a way to stay active and keep his mind sharp while he’s still able to ride. He describes it as an exhilarating machine, especially when it shifts into the mid-to-high RPM range, where it accelerates like a beast and handles with incredible ease—bringing him immense joy.
The exhaust was swapped from the large and heavy stock one to a TRICK STAR Slip-On Silencer IKAZUCHI. According to the owner, this upgrade smoothed out the tricky clutch operation and completely transformed the bike's performance. He claims it was the best modification he made, as it eliminated stress from the ride.
To solve grip issues, the owner installed PRO GRIP Superbike Grips #601. The standard round grips had caused discomfort due to the need to grip them too tightly, but with the new ones, comfort improved dramatically. The short, hard plastic stock handlebar ends were replaced with POSH Ultra Heavy Bar Ends, which not only provide better balance but also add a nice green accent that matches the frame.
For better wind protection at highway speeds, the owner installed a Magical Racing Carbon Trim Windshield. When leaning forward, wind is almost completely blocked, enhancing the comfort of high-speed rides. At the rear, the owner opted for an ACTIVE Fender Eliminator Kit, aiming for both weight reduction and a sleeker appearance. To prevent mud splashes on the exposed wiring, he even custom-fitted a 3mm aluminum plate. This custom build reflects the owner’s determination to make his riding experience more comfortable. You can almost picture him experimenting and fine-tuning each detail.
