ADVANTAGE's Ninja H2

H2pro_1.jpg

The Ninja H2, a supercharged model introduced in 2015, boasts a maximum power output of 170kW (231 hp), the largest ever for a Kawasaki street model. This particular machine features a carbon fiber exterior and various other carbon fiber parts. ADVANTAGE provided the original EXACT magnesium forged wheels and DIRECT DRIVE Racing Discs. Mr. Nakanishi of ADVANTAGE says, "Both parts are highly recommended. The DIRECT DRIVE Racing Discs are the same as those used in Moto2 and Moto3 and are made of a special material that can withstand the high temperatures crucial in racing and have good heat dissipation. Of course, braking performance is also guaranteed. In the past, we used to separate the types for racing and street use because rust resistance was a priority for street use. However, even if a little rust appears, it can be removed once the brake is applied, and by changing our way of thinking, we are now supplying both types of products in a unified manner."

As with this machine, the disc performance can be utilized in combination with Brembo calipers, allowing you to enjoy the change. How about the EXACT wheels? We asked about the relationship with tire size. "The 200/55 size Bridgestone RS11 tire specifies a rim width of 6.25, so these wheels are also made in the 6.25-17 size. It is a perfect fit. Furthermore, the Ninja H2 has a cantilever swingarm, but we have received feedback from pro riders that it is as good as a double-sided type, so we recommend this combination." They continue to improve the manufacturing process, materials, and other aspects of the product that are not visible and continue to measure improvements in total performance. We would like to incorporate such information on each part as well.

The ø330mm front discs are ADVANTAGE DIRECT DRIVE Racing Discs, which are connected and supported by surface contact of a square protrusion on the outer side and a similarly shaped groove on the inner side.

The front brake calipers are Brembo 484 with OVER Front Caliper Ducts on the side, and the front forks are replaced with Ohlins FGRT221 (FGR/TNIX).

The front and rear wheels are 10-spoke ADVANTAGE EXACT RACING 10 in 3.50-17/6.25-17 sizes. The Ninja H2's cantilever swingarm gives a solid feel of a double-sided swingarm and is compatible with the 200/55 size tires as specified for the stock Ninja H2. It is particularly well matched with Bridgestone RS11.

The rear disc has been replaced with an ADVANTAGE DIRECT DRIVE Racing Disc, and the caliper is a Brembo CNC P2. Other exterior components, such as the upper cowl, side cowls, tank cover, and seat cowl, have been upgraded to A-TECH Black Diamond (carbon) for both the front and rear fenders. Rear shocks have been replaced with Ohlins KA464 (TTXGP2018), and the exhaust has been upgraded to a Titanium 4-1 Megaphone. Additionally, the steps have been replaced with OVER's 4-position Rearsets.
