Monster Machine Screams On The Track: Ninja H2 Custom
TRICK STAR's Ninja H2
This Ninja H2 shows TRICK STAR's racing expertise. The owner competes in races at the Suzuka Circuit. He initially enjoyed riding it on the street but now at track. Brutal acceleration provided by the supercharger was really attractive, but on the other hand, he had to be careful with throttle control when exiting a corner. The concept of this custom was to make the extremes in throttling milder and improve the controllability. As the first step, they adjusted its electronic control system.
When modifying the electronic control system, the owner tried to solve the problem of extreme acceleration at the beginning of throttling by using performance chip, but the control system inevitably worked at a certain point. So, they used an ECU update program ST-1. This allowed the fly-by-wire control and speed limiter to be released, and the ignition timing was also changed to eliminate the extreme. The throttle grip inner has been replaced with Ninja 250's. This allows for a wider throttle opening, but also allows for more control over the throttle. Although the throttle opening angle is wider, he priority was placed on controllability. The Ninja H2 is now ready to take full advantage of its performance on the track, and the TRICK STAR is considering upgrading the chassis in the future.
Intake & Exhaust
The silencer is equipped with IKAZUCHI developed by TRICK STAR. While suppressing the sound emitted by the supercharged engine, it produces a sensual exhaust note thanks to its internal structure, which resembles a wind instrument. Such distinctive style also improves bank angle and aerodynamic characteristics.
Bodyworks
The windshield is made by PUIG, which was selected by the owner. Despite its thickness, the windshield provides clear visibility, and the owner says it is good that the windshield itself does not shake easily even when riding at high speeds.
The fender eliminator kit is made by the owner. ACTIVE's LED blinkers are mounted on the license plate to keep the rear area clean and to accentuate the short tail cowl.
In many races these days, it is mandatory to install an undercowl in the shape of an oil receiver under the engine. A-Tech's carbon undercowl has been installed to meet this requirement.
The front fender has also been replaced with A-Tech's carbon fender. Although the shape is the same as the stock, the carbon makes the fender lighter and more effective in dressing up the bike.
Engine
The radiator is equipped with a radiator core guard to protect the radiator core from pebbles. This is a RidersPark WITH product. It is a product with excellent cost performance.
Chassis
The rearsets are Beet's Hyper Bank. To change the position a little more for riding on the track, so a base plate was added based on the position of the TRICK STAR's another Ninja H2.
Handle
The lever guards manufactured by AZ Racing, to which the owner belongs, are installed. This guards are designed to prevent unintentional input to the front brake from contact with other bikes, and are a necessity in racing.
