Suzuki Motor's first traction control system installed.With this equipment, it becomes possible to efficiently transmit the engine output to the rear tire, enabling you to enjoy more comfortable riding.The traction control system monitors the front and rear wheel speed sensor, throttle position sensor, crank position sensor and gear position sensor and reduces the engine output promptly when detecting the wheel spin of the rear tire.It controls the ignition timing and the opening degree of the secondary throttle valve to automatically suppress the engine output and restore the grip force of the rear tire.Moreover, this system enables smooth starting and running by performing fine control of the engine about 250 times per second.Riders can select modes according to their preference from among three modes of "1", "2", "Off".The control switch for mode select is on the left handle bar, you can operate it any time promptly, you can check the mode on the liquid crystal meter display.
