Here is a "YAMAHA MT-03(FZ-03)" custom by Webike community user "Baru". The owner recommends the MT-03 as a bike that can be enjoyed by everyone, from beginners to experienced riders. It's incredibly light, has good footing, and the riding position is natural, allowing for agile movement on winding roads. The braking system felt a bit weak, so the owner made thorough upgrades. Among them, the OVER Racing Rear Caliper Support stands out for its lightness, precision, and the consistent high quality that the owner appreciates. What he especially likes is the KITACO Helmet Holder. It mounts inside the pillion step bracket, so it looks natural, and he wishes the stock model came with this feature.
For the handlebars, he installed the ZETA GT Handlebar Low Type-2 to raise the handlebar height and lower the pullback angle. As a result, the throttle and clutch cables became too short, so he swapped them out for EFFEX cables. The levers are the U-KANAYA Folding R-type Aluminum Billet Lever Set, which helps prevent damage in case of a fall. They are precision-made and have a high-quality finish.
The suspension is the NITRON Rear Suspension Mono Shock NTR R3 Series. The wide range of adjustments is excellent, and by adjusting compression and rebound, it is possible to soften the sudden jolts that come with sudden bumps. The owner decided on a NITRON suspension, despite its high price, because there is an optional NITRON Hydraulic Preload Adjuster. This adjuster makes it very convenient to adjust preload without tools, which is particularly helpful when carrying a heavy load or riding pillion. The owner is very satisfied with this feature.
