A Collector’s Choice: SUZUKI HAYABUSA Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "SUZUKI HAYABUSA" custom by Webike community user "Yayooo_". This is the owner’s third Hayabusa. He purchased this one in 2024 as part of his personal collection, thinking it might be among the last Hayabusas produced. (For reference, the 2025 model is already available.) What he loves most about the bike is its advanced electronic controls, which make for an incredibly enjoyable ride. On the downside, its large and imposing body means it’s quite heavy, making city riding a bit of a challenge.
As a dedicated Hayabusa fan, he has plenty of favorite upgrades, but here are a few standout ones. First up is the Eazi-Grip Knee Grip Support. Simply applying it dramatically improves the connection with the bike. He highly recommends it, not just for cornering, but also for maintaining control during sudden acceleration and braking. Another standout upgrade is the Brembo CNC Radial Mount Brake Caliper Kit. With a heavyweight bike like the Hayabusa, a significant amount of weight shifts to the front when braking. He felt that the stock M50S calipers didn’t provide enough stopping power. While this was definitely a premium purchase, the moment he installed it, he was blown away—just as expected from Brembo! The luxurious feel of the nickel finish is another highlight. A quick note: when installing these calipers on the latest Hayabusa, a separate 10mm caliper collar is required, so keep that in mind. For bolts, his go-to brand is S-PARTS. They offer a wide range of models with plenty of options for length and color. He chose candy-colored titanium bolts, which look stunning. Loving the aesthetic so much, he now plans to replace all his bolts with this color.
Finally, to further enhance the bike’s color scheme, he uses ACTIVE’s colored brake fluid paired with a Frando DC Reservoir Tank. He praises the reservoir for its incredible transparency and premium quality, admitting he never knew such an outstanding product existed until now. In addition, as a dress-up part, he installed the Moto Corse CNC Billet Preload Adjuster Dial. Being able to use a Moto Corse product for a reasonable price is a bonus, and with its flawless finish and precision, it’s a part he finds simply mesmerizing.
