Innovative Parts Lineup: Kawasaki Z650RS Custom by KIJIMA
KIJIMA's Z650RS
Kijima has been developing and selling a variety of parts for a wide range of models, from 50cc and 125cc moped bikes to large bikes such as the Z900RS and Hayabusa. Taking their mainstay Z900RS/CAFE parts as an example, Kijima's parts are made with a different perspective and ideas from those of other parts manufacturers. Given this, this bike reflects the approach towards the new parts rollout for the '22 Z650RS. "We have also displayed a Z650RS demo bike at our booth at the '23 Tokyo Motorcycle Show, and we received many questions about the products," said Mr. Nishizawa of Kijima's Planning and Development Department. Many of these visitors were beginners or returning riders who had been away from motorcycles for a long time. Among bikes with similar displacement and twin-cylinder engines, such as the Yamaha MT-07 series and the Suzuki SV650/X, there are riders who choose the Z650RS, saying, 'Kawasaki is the best!' Although supply may not be able to keep up with demand, there is a definite need for the Z650RS, and the parts lineup is being expanded in anticipation of its future growth potential. These are the parts installed on this bike.
Kijima's engine guard provides peace of mind for those beginners and return riders, it is also popular on other models. In addition, the Assist Rack and Bag Support offer solutions to the loading concerns of recent models. As the name suggests, the Assist Rack is effective as a support to hold the rear of the bike when pushing or pulling it. The Bag Support is a valuable component that particularly helps prevent bags from being pulled into the inner side of monoshock bikes. Other exclusive parts include Sequential TR Turn Signals and a Fender Eliminator Kit, which increase the utility of the Z650RS. Of course, like other Kijima parts, the fact that they are bolt-on is also a plus. The Tactical Side Bag and Tactical Seat Bag, shown in the picture, can be used together with the aforementioned Assist Rack and Bag Support, making them suitable for everyday luggage as well as longer tours. Starting from here, a variety of parts with new proposals tailored to your needs will continue to be introduced by Kijima. It seems like a good idea to start by obtaining peace of mind with this lineup.

About KIJIMA
Even though KJIIMA is not a big name manufacturer as SHOEI, ARAI, YOSHIMURA, if you come to the streets of Japan, you may find that 80% of motorcycles have parts from KIJIMA. But why? Maybe you have already guessed it, but KIJIMA mainly do universal parts, from a bolt, to fender eliminators or even exhausts, basically anything you can see on a motorcycle.
