Special Parts Tadao, known for their catch phrase "Feeling Good!", has released the "POWERBOX FULL 2in1" Full Exhaust for the 2024 Z650RS. Two versions are available, "Polished Stainless Steel" and "Black Edition". Webike has also begun taking orders for these exhausts, so let's check out what they have to offer!

The "Feeling Good!" ride is like a modern Zapper!

SP Tadao's new full exhaust, the POWERBOX FULL 2in1, features a simple design made of ultra-light stainless steel. The torque line is set to rise steadily, providing a "comfortable ride" in the 2000 to 4000 rpm range. According to the developers, with the stock exhaust the torque line between 2000 and 3500 rpm is not steady, so the amount the throttle is opened doesn't correspond directly with acceleration. They repeated detailed adjustments to resolve this slight "awkwardness," and as a result, a "Feeling Good!" ride was achieved.

Of course, exhilarating acceleration is felt in the high-rpm range, but even in the low range, the bike accelerates more and more with each twist of the throttle. According to the developers, it is a wonderful sensation like "a snowball rolling across a snowfield, getting bigger and bigger," and they liken this sensation to that of the legendary Zapper.

Just what is the legendary Zapper?

The "Zapper" is the nickname given to Kawasaki's Z650, a famous bike from the 1970s and '80s. It is now etched in Kawasaki history as a lighter and more compact version of the Z1 and Z2, while retaining their original appeal. The most popular theory is that the name "Zapper" was derived from the word "zap", describing the bike's agile performance. The Zapper is of course the motif for the current Z650RS, so why not experience the "Zapper" style that SP Tadao has achieved on this modern bike?
