PLOT's Z650RS

PLOT held an exhibit at the 2023 Tokyo Motorcycle Show with the theme of showing all the parts they handle, the history of the brand, and their approaches. This Z650RS is a demo bike that was displayed at the PLOT booth. It is slightly different from the Z900RS Custom that was displayed at the same time. Although the same RS = roadster, the Z650RS is a well-balanced combination of retro and modern, with a nimble and friendly character, so the modifications were made with the aim of further developing these advantages. At the same time, while the Z900RS used mostly Japanese parts to recreate the customization trend, the Z650RS used mainly imported parts and PLOT parts.

The MRA windshield enhances comfort during touring by improving wind protection, and the Hepco & Becker side bags increase load capacity while seamlessly fitting with the bike's appearance. The brake system is equipped with Brembo parts to ensure optimal braking performance and a high-quality feel. The handlebars have been upgraded from the stock bars (φ22.2mm) to EFFEX tapered bars (φ28.6mm), providing enhanced presence and rigidity while maintaining proper flex. The EFFEX lowering kit reduces the seat height by 20mm, offering a sense of security without compromising riding performance. PLOT emphasizes that the machine focuses on 'riding,' 'turning,' 'stopping,' 'safety,' 'security,' and 'comfort' from every angle. It is accurate to describe this bike as one that reflects the intricate components, history, and understanding of each part that makes it possible.

Handle

The cockpit is equipped with an MRA Windshield Touring, EFFEX Tapered Bar Conversion Kit, and LSL Mirror Clubman for comfort and control. The front master is Brembo RCS and an EFFEX Grip Heater is equipped.

Bodyworks

The grab bar with a line that matches the tail cowl, the Side Bag Legacy (M), and the C-Bow Side Rack Black (the plate seen on the right side), which is shaped like the letter C and can be attached with a single touch, are all made by Hepco & Becker.

Engine

The Engine Guard Black with Crash Pad is also from Hepco & Becker, and the EFFEX Lowering Kit 20mm and short side stand are also installed without any discomfort.

Chassis

The front calipers are Brembo P4-40C Axial 4P, and the front and rear brake lines are replaced with stainless steel mesh PLOT Swagelines.
