Riding the Light: HONDA CBR1000RR Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "HONDA CBR1000RR" custom by Webike community user "TonTon". The CBR1000RR Fireblade is a supersport that Honda has built to compete seriously against its rivals on the racetrack. It is the lightest among all Japanese liter supersport bikes. The light weight is further enhanced by the SUNSTAR Rear Sprocket, made from ultra-duralumin (A7075) material known for its excellent hardness and durability despite its lightweight nature. This greatly reduces weight under the suspension, positively impacting the ride quality. A smoother drivetrain should also lead to increased top speed. It's crucial to select parts in such a way that there is no imbalance in the combination, ensuring both the sprocket and chain contribute to high durability. Therefore, the owner opted for the DID ZVM-X Series Chain 525ZVM-X, which combines the high rigidity of a racing chain with long-lasting performance. For maintenance, an essential item is the BABYFACE Swingarm Stand Hook M8. Besides serving as a protector for the swingarm in case of a fall, it also provides a dress-up effect. The ACTIVE Fender Eliminator Kit also contributes to enhancing the bike's appearance. It doesn't require modifications to the chassis, and each part is beautifully crafted. However, it does involve dismantling the entire rear body during installation, which may be time-consuming if you're not accustomed to such tasks. Nevertheless, the resulting effect is well worth the effort.
