From Precision Performance to Polished Details: KAWASAKI Ninja 250 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI Ninja 250" custom by Webike community user "Ribanban". What the owner finds most appealing about the 2016 Ninja 250 ABS is its full-size presence, which gives it a commanding look, along with the built-in front turn signals that add a subtle touch of style. The rear suspension uses a link-type monoshock setup with spring characteristics that feel soft over small bumps but firm over larger ones. The assist & slipper clutch also contributes to the ride by lightening the clutch lever pull and helping to reduce rear-wheel hop caused by abrupt engine braking. The Kawasaki Racing Team color scheme is another favorite—it hits the mark perfectly. As a returning rider, the owner is impressed by just how easy the bike is to handle. It corners smoothly and naturally, making every ride a joy and bringing back the thrill of riding in full.
Among the upgrades that brought the most satisfaction, the first is the SP Takegawa Hyper LED Turn Signal Bulb Kit. Switching to LEDs transformed the previously dim, firefly-like blinking of the stock bulbs into bright, crisp flashes, a change the owner is thoroughly pleased with.
Another part that earned high praise, not just from the owner but from other users as well, is the SSK Dry Carbon Mirror Covers. Since the owner liked the shape of the stock mirrors, he searched for something that would retain the original look while adding a touch of quality, and landed on these. In person, the covers have a solid thickness, offering good durability, and the quality is spot-on. Installation is a breeze—double-sided tape is already applied, so it takes less than five minutes. The only tricky part was gently widening the base of the covers to snap them on, which felt risky at first, but true to carbon fiber's strength, they held up just fine thanks to their thickness.
With these covers installed, the mirrors gain a subtle glossy accent, and on closer inspection, the real carbon fiber finish stands out nicely. It’s a customization that looks understated yet feels thoroughly satisfying.
