Webike's Opinion

Here is a "YAMAHA YZF-R1" custom by Webike community user "K.y". The exhaust system is equipped with an AKRAPOVIC Slip-On Line Exhaust made of titanium, which will surely enhance the exhaust sound of the R1's famous 4-cylinder crossplane engine.

The windshield in an MRA Racing Windshield. The raised center part of the shield covers up to the helmet and reduces aerodynamic drag. In addition to the windshield, the R1's sporty look is further enhanced by installing a YAMAHA single-seat cover. For the headlights, headlight shields from ACRY-Point have been installed to protect against damage to the lenses. Attachment and removal are easy thanks to the use of Velcro.

ETCHING FACTORY Radiator and Oil Cooler Guards made of high-grade SUS304 stainless steel have been installed to protect the R1's cooling equipment from small rocks and other debris. Taking into account cooling performance, the size of the holes in the mesh on the sides of the guards has been enlarged as much as possible to achieve both protection and cooling performance at a high level. In addition, the fine mesh in the center of the guards protects against small pieces of rubber spun off from the front tire when riding.

In the event of a fall or crash, the engine is protected by a GBRacing Engine Cover Set (secondary covers). The covers are 10 times stronger than ordinary ABS resin and have been produced based on their know-how gained from actual competition in MotoGP and SBK.
