Comfortable Cruising: YAMAHA SR500 Custom
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "YAMAHA SR500" custom by Webike community user "kemushin". The high vibration level while riding, a characteristic of the SR, is absorbed by the YAMAHA Performance Damper to improve ride comfort and handling. The tail light is replaced with a POSH Round Type, and the rear turn signals are relocated to the sides of the tail light with a Relocation Bracket by Sym'z Craft to avoid interference with the saddlebags. The carburetor is a KEIHIN 38mm, and a PINGEL Gasoline Cock is used to increase the fuel supply. The air filter is by YOSHIMURA. The suspension is KYB's long-seller, TGS325. To protect the SR's bare hubs from dust, DAYTONA KEDO Rear Hub Dust Caps are installed on the wheels. For loading cargo, a DAYTONA Classic Rack is installed to maintain the classic appearance of the bike, and a GIVI case is used.
